28th December 2009 : Raymond van Barneveld hit a perfect 9 dart leg in his 4-0 win over Brendan Dolan in the PDC World Championships at Alexander Palace.

Van Barneveld started the first leg of the third set with two 180 maximums. He then hit treble 20, treble 19 and double 12 for only the second perfect leg of darts at the World Championships in it’s history.

He was previously the only one to do this in his match against fellow Dutchman Jelle Klaasen last year. He picks up £25,000 for his 9 darter if nobody else hits one during the rest of the championship.
